Everything You Need to Know About the New AirSense™ 11 CPAP Machine!
Resmed's new generation AirSense™ 11 is finally here and here's everything we know about it!
Therapy Modes
AirSense™ 11 comes to us with 3 therapy models: Autoset, Elite and CPAP. The Autoset model automatically changes airflow pressure levels on a breath-by-breath basis. These 11 series include the 'For Her' algorithm, a gender-specific therapy mode, which was a separate machine in its predecessor, AirSense™ 10. The Elite and CPAP models will deliver premium and basic fixed, consistent pressures determined by your prescription.
myAir™ App
Each machine will have full access to Resmed myAir™app which provides 24/7 online support and data reporting right at your fingertips.
The Look
A complete overhaul, the black and white AirSense™ 11 looks sleek and modern with a colour touchscreen display. Gone is the click wheel and a similar, (but not the same) built-in HumidAir™ 11 water tub featuring a new heater plate. Also new, a ClimatelineAir™ 11 heated tubing ditches the annoying curved elbow and replaces it with a straight end. The power supply and connector has been revamped to a less clunky version already found on their AirMini™ travel system.
New Technical Features
- Access to myAir™ App to track your sleep progress.
- Personal Therapy Assistant is a virtual guide through setup and help with common issues.
- Care Check-In provides assistance and coaching when needed.
- Over-the-air upgrade capability allows feature and maintenance updates immediately.
Overall the physical and technical upgrades are promising over the much loved and popular AirSense™10. We are curious to see how the new AirSense™ 11 performs once they get in the hands of more everyday users.
